Real Leather, But Sep 18, 2011
By Frank J. Pluzsik
"Jets Flyer"
Wanted a good ball to practice with my 10 year old son (Matthew Pluzsik "Matmo! Who is a Ratmo! Likes to play Halo!") who now plays junior football. I had a NFL size composite with too much grip to it. so I wanted a leather with a bit of slickness and hardness to toss without gloves to make catching a bit more difficult. This ball is a little more than I bargained for, I find it very slick and hard compared with any of the Nike's. I can barely palm it by the nose. with cutter gloves it is much easier to catch. but without them your kids wont be making many one handed grabs regarding construction the seams are a bit uneven at the point and the laces are somewhat flat It probably will wear in well as the materials appear to be of decent quality

Very Nice Mar 26, 2011
By Osmun R. Latrobe Not all footballs are made the same. This one however is just like a quality regular football, only age appropriate smaller. Its material has a great feel, it stitching is tight. It is properly shaped, Yes this can be an issue. Overall, as my grandson said, "Very professional". What more could I ask.

A little bigger than the K2 Oct 09, 2010
By Aaron W. We wanted a leather ball and the kids are used to the K2 size. This is just a little bigger than the K2 but very manageable for smaller hands. Seems to be good quality and is breaking in well. Good price through amazon.

Good football Sep 10, 2010
By Complete Robot Excelent! This ball has a rude apeal, and it feels too... Its a little hard at the beggining, but as you get used to it, it feels great when trying to make a pass! Only minus is the rain or water: makes it slippery... Great ball!

Are you ready for some Football? Jul 26, 2007
By Kevin J. Cundick I bought this football because I coach in the little league level for age 11. This football will be good for us to use for this season and beyond.
