Soft, controllable power Oct 21, 2009
By Michael D. Kelley
"Ex-Genius"
There are as many opinions about tennis strings as their are players, but I can promise you if you have any arm or elbow problems this is absolutely the best string for you. It's the "softest" string I've ever used, but without sacrificing power and control.
I string my own rackets and have used just about every type and string there is and nothing even comes close to this (and I have tried to find a substitute, since Wilson no longer sells this in reels, making it an expensive string to use if you string once a month like I do). It's durable as well, and the only knock on it I can even think of is that the length may nor may not fit your oversized racket (I have a fairly large oversize and it *just* fits by inches -- Wilson does make a Tour string specifically for oversized, but it ain't this one and doesn't play nearly as well).
When I use this for other players they can get many months of use out of it -- it holds tension better than nearly any other string as well. Truly, this is such a great string I just can't understand why Wilson stopped providing it in reels, but I'll keep buying string sets for it because I can't do without. Try it once and you'll be hooked.

One of the best strings available Oct 14, 2010
By Inna You really can't go wrong with this string. Plays similar to natural gut. Great control, reliability and power. I string it at 60lbs on my Volkl C-10 Pro. I also use string savers, and get very little string movement and no fraying, after playing about 30hrs. I am very happy with this string. If you're not a string breaker get 17 gauge, and move to 18 gauge if you don't break the 17. You'll get more control and spin with thinner string.

Wilson NXT Tour 18 gauge string plays great! May 09, 2007
By James P. Kelaher I liked this string so much I bought half a dozen more sets just in case Wilson quits making it! It plays really well, and for an 18 gauge string, it lasts far longer than I ever expected. While I don't do my own stringing now, I would imagine it would be a breeze to string.

Awesome strings! Oct 09, 2011
By Kevin M I have used many strings in the past and none have felt as good as the NXT Tour 16. I got these strung on my Babolat racket at 54lbs and I can say that they are powerful but yet give me a lot of control. It is also softer than any of the other ones I have used which improves the feel of my shots. After a few hours of hard hitting with heavy top spin, I noticed very slight wear so I hope they will last. Will update this whenever they break. I highly recommended it.
