Not as advertised Dec 29, 2007
By L. Dewees I purchased two of these footballs. The Carolina Panthers one was received as described. However, the Chargers looks nothing like this photo. In fact, the Chargers one came in a box that looked like it was the wrong box, plus it was almost all a purple color. Nothing like the Chargers colors. I will be returning it. Very disappointed.

This is a great football for a Chargers fan. It is slightly smaller than a standard size football, but still a good ball to play with. My kids (12 and older) and their friends use it every day.

Our 12 Year Old is branching out from our home NFL Team, to many others - San Diego being just one of many. I also ordered one of the New Orleans Saints footballs for a Valentines Day gift, which we gave him early because I couldn't wait any longer. They are in his room, under display cases, and as he told to his friends, "will never be taken outside!" These are great items for kids or adults - especially if you enjoy collecting "simple" memorabilia for your favorite teams. I plan to order more teams soon! I was unable to find these anywhere but on Amazon.com. They arrived quickly, and look AWESOME! Thank you Amazon!

By Richard J Locke I didn't use this ball for playing only for Chargers autographs, and for that it's GREAT! I would definately use sharpie pens when getting autographs on this because of it's smooth surface. It's smooth surface makes it great for writing. One side is dark for your gold and silver pens and one side is light baby blue for your black sharpie pens. Definately a great ball for signings.
