High Quality, Exellent Value Feb 11, 2010
By Dharma Cole I am impressed with the quality and value of this product. My wife and I had a great time snorkeling in Mexico. I look forward to using it again. I should really get some fins to go with it. The mask fit me well. I was skeptical about the dry snorkel at first, but it worked great. It doesn't come with any carrying case or mesh bag.

Pivot Dry Works Jul 17, 2010
By Scott We bought the set for a trip to Hawaii. The mask is fine, but the review is about the snorkel. The Pivot Dry is worth any extra money. The pivoting head really works! While snorkeling in the rough water of Hawaii, we watched person after person lift their heads to blow the water out. Ultimately, they all gave up and went for shore. These snorkels work exactly as advertised - no water when submerged or splashed.
I will say it's a little strange when you try to inhale and the pivot is closed, but you get the idea quickly (breathing water would have been the other option).
The snorkeling was so much more enjoyable - much more time with my face in the water enjoying the sights.

Mask is clear and doesn't fog up if you don't breath through your nose. I use mask drops before each dive as well. The mask fit my face, my wife's face, and another friend's face without leaking.
The snorkel is pretty cool. I have always just used the old fashioned kind in the past, but I was impressed at how dry it stayed. The top seals well when diving. I would occasionally get a little bit down to the bottom, but it would collect below the breathing hole, so I never got any unexpected mouthfuls. I generally clear when surfacing anyway with a quick blast of air, and it was easy to clear through the bottom valve. My only gripe with it is that occasionally if you just pop your head up to see where you are, the top can close on you, but if you just spit out the mouth piece, or put your face back down, you can continue breathing without trouble. That only happened once or twice, and did not really detract from the experience.
Overall, a great product for the price.

By Toy Reviewer the mask and snorkel was great, however if your a female (we generally have smaller faces) or have narrow temples it will not fit. sadly the measurements aren't listed in the description. i would say i have a pretty average sized face though, i've never had a problem with goggles being too big before unless they were outright listed as LARGE, but these are supposed to be one size fits all. I returned these and ordered another version of the us diver masks that was listed specifically for women. it slightly cheaper but i've heard nothing but good reviews for it. hopefully those turn out better!

Bought some snorkel equipment for our trip to Maui. Like my $45 oceanic snorkel and $50 Divemaster mask better, but not by much. The field of view for the mask was fair to good - need to clean the glass thoroughly to prevent severe fogging. Snorkel was not a bad dry snorkel for the price - did what it was supposed to. Would recommend - saved the cost and hassle of renting equipment, plus you don't have to use some one else's snorkel. BleaH!
