Description
This is a great update to one of Speedo's most popular goggles. The one weakness to the original Vanquisher has been its limited peripheral vision, so the new 2.0 has improved this by 25% without changing the overall design and fit. It has the same soft silicone seals and a new two color double headstrap with ergonomic adjustable clip to insure a snug watertight fit. If you love the original Vanquisher, you will love this next generation in the Vanquisher collection even more!

The new 2.0 design allows you to see more! Invaluable when you have swimmers drifting into your lane! Jan 28, 2011

I bought the Speedo Vanquisher 'COLOR: clear' for night swimmming. The new 2.0 peripheral lens design actually allows me to see more. This is most important when I have swimmers encroaching into my lane! The clear lens has certainly helped me to avoid a few 'crashes'!
I have been using the Vanquisher series a while now because of the soft, comfortable silicone seals. These goggles always remain intact and watertight. I can even dive off from the low diving board without the goggles slipping off or taking in water. Best of all, these goggles do not make sink marks around my eyes or nose.

For a better individual fit, these 2.0 Vanquisher goggles are shipped with three improved interchangeable nose pieces to accommodate different nose widths.
Of course, the Speedo Vanquisher 'COLOR: clear' goggles would allow too much light for swimming in strong daylight. To effictively reduce the sun glare during daytime workouts, I recommend the Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 Plus Mirrored Goggle.

good adult swim goggle for large face Aug 03, 2009
By Netra I have a large face, these goggles fit me well. Very clear - almost too bright on sunny days - I recommend buying a clear and a tinted version of same goggle for evening and days

Speeedo VANQUISHER 2.0 Goggle Dec 15, 2009

This is a first-rate product: easy to put on, you don't have to fiddle with the googles to ensure that no water comes in and amazingly, you can see quite well through the lenses while swimming.

pretty decent Aug 17, 2010

Pros: - best fitting pair of goggles i've ever worn - keeps water out without making deep indentations around your eyes - multiple nosepieces for different nose widths
Cons: - the nose pieces are kind of hard to attach - the nose piece i use sometimes disconnects, and i have to push it back in to connect the 2 halves of the goggle. - they should make it easier to attach and detach the nosepieces. its not easy.
Great for the first set of laps Apr 28, 2012

Followed instructions to the T, i.e. 15-20 mins adjusting just right including 45 degree angle to ensure no leakage.
After 25 laps, leaks all over the place and all further adjustments made it worse. Asked Tri instructor swimming on next lane...said the goggles are cheap chinese knock offs sold to dumb amercians...call me dumb!
Buy these if you care to only swim about 25 laps and never swim again in your life...then definitely 5 stars...other wise -5 stars
Going back to my local cheap ones, at least my old ones are made in USA!!! (and going on a few hundred laps)
