Serengeti has great product, and I really think you get a lot of bang for the buck with their sunglasses, very well constructed, good quality, excellent lenses, and nice styles; I collect all kinds of sunglasses, and there are very good brands out there, but if I had to choose just one brand, I'd go with Serengeti, but Maui Jim, and Oakley are also great; It really depends on what your personal preference, style and purpose for the sunglasses is when choosing a brand and style.

By Robin Andrew Been wearing Serengetis for years not and although these were much too big for me, it killed me to send them back at this price & specs, otherwise they were EXACTLY what I wanted: Rose gradient color, Photochromatic, high contrast for driving and VERY HARD TO FIND TEMPERED GLASS YOU CAN ONLY GET FROM SERENGETI!! STILL MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITES AND MY QUEST TO FIND A PAID THAT WILL FIT MY SMALL FACE CONTINUES...this is an UNBELIEVABLE PRICE FOR THESE and they are by far MUCH BETTER THAN THE OVER PRICED MAUI JIMS!!

still the best drivers sunnies around May 19, 2012
By Lavinius I got this delivered to me from Amazon in 3 days, I'm in Brisbane, Australia, so delivery time was fantastic. This might not be fair as I'm comparing them to two other sunglasses that I own and quite like but here it goes My main pair of sunglasses are Oakley Juliet, I have owned these since 2002 and they are still very very good, they have been through everything and they been thrown everywhere and apart from the rubbers falling apart they been excellent, they really cover your eye sockets so no light escapes in, they are not polarised but as purely for driving they got nothing on the Serengeti, the difference is night and day, the Serengeti is made for driving with crystal clear vision and no distortion at all, very calming tint and they adjust to light. I hope they last me as long as the Oakley
My other pair of sunnies is the Ray Ban RB8303 004/82 TECH which I been using for a year now as my driving sunnies, although they are good and very very light they reflect light inside the lens too much and dazzle you, again the Serengeti are superior in every aspect except weight, the lens is made of glass so they are a bit heavy but not that noticeable, for driving it's perfect as you don't do much behind the wheel, if you play sports and go to the beach I'd take the Oakley Juliet any day of the week as they wrap around your head perfectly and I been swimming and body boarding with them with no problem.
To be honest you can't buy better driving glasses than these and the price is not to bad, both the Ray Ban and Oakley I have are a lot more expensive than the these but purely for driving I don't think I'll use anything else

By Rhaspun I bought my sunglasses through Amazon but the order was handled by another web site. I had Maui Jim sunglasses and I thought I had lost them. I found them after ordering these Serengeti sunglasses and I had planned on returning them once they they were shipped to me. But after trying them for a week I decided to keep them. These sunglasses are very comfortable and the clarity through the lenses is excellent. They're light weight due to the plastic lenses but that is probably why they are so comfortable. The lenses are slightly lighter in darkness than my Maui Jim sunglasses but I haven't had any problems with using them under any driving conditions. A low morning sun or low evening sun with the reflected light is handled easily. The fit of the s-flex frames is great for me. I adjusted the nose pads slightly and they were good to go. I highly recommend these sunglasses to anyone.
