3Pretty nice case  Nov 26, 2008 By S. J McCartin
I got this case because I shoot bow in the SCA and in that orgnization we are limited to wood shafted arrows only (and they prefer them took as "period" as possible, i.e. non modern). Feathered wood shaft arrows can be a bit expensive so I wanted to protect my investment. I also live in florida where we have the florida state bird (i.e the cockroach) and these little snots just love to chow on natural feathers for some reason. I thought this case would help keep them off my arrows when stored in the garage.

These cases are nice and rugged and four latches means they stay closed very well. The latches are also not permanently attached which makes them more rugged and conceivably replaceable if one should happen to break. Inside the case there are several "standoffs" that help keep the case from collapsing if something heavy got put on top of it. There are four rubber "holders" that keep the arrows separated (looks like that thing used to separate your fingers when applying finger nail polish). The holders are not glued into the case they slide into slots built into the inside of the case (nice, makes em replaceable and interchangeable). It is possible to get 18 arrows into this case but the arrows must be installed fletch to point on the arrow beside it and next to the "standoffs" you also have to be sure to rotate the feathers so they are not damaged by the standoff being in their way. Most people shoot around 28" draw, my friend shoots at around a 30" draw and the case is wide enough to accommodate arrows that are that long with no problems. It isn't a bad case but an experienced friend of mine told me this case will not keep the roaches out so i guess when I store it I'll need to put duct tape around it or somesuch...haven't really had the case long enough to test the theory that it won't keep the critters out.

The case has a hunk of foam inside by the handle, I don't know why they did that unless it was just to give the handle a more solid feel. These are pretty nice cases, it would be better if it had an accessory pocket on the outside or maybe some sort of strap setup to hold your ground arrow/bow holder or your quiver. With free shipping these are not a bad deal, we have two of them that have seen a few months use and they're fine and well made, you just have to get used to knowing how to get the arrows in there. If you shoot flu flu (bird arrows) the huge fletches on there are not going to allow a huge number of arrows in this case...at least not the 18 this case can hold of arrows with normal sized fletches.

2Very Disappointed  Feb 10, 2012 By Brian J. F.
Fit and finish on this arrow case leave a lot to be desired. Even with the pillars in place, this case still "seems" flimsy. There is too much air space in between the pillars when the case is closed. I can press on the top & bottom & hear the pillars "click, clack" together.

Granted, I'm sure this case was specifically designed to meet a certain price point, however, the thin fitting of the two handle halves, the thin latches and the thin "dollar store" hinges were all a disappointment. I would GLADLY pay more for a pillar style arrow case of the same quality as Plano's All Weather Bow & Gun Case Series with locking points at each hinge as opposed the two ineffective points at the corners.

To be fair, FOR THE PRICE PAID, the product is serviceable (hence the 2 stars as opposed to 0 stars)... just not for air travel. Back of the pickup... DEBATABLE... Arrows seem to hold well in the slots & it seems to be an adequate hold once the case is compressed & the pillars finally do engage each other, however, the plastic used in the product is WAY too pliable... I can see an object punching through the plastic in between the pillars, resulting in arrow damage, even with the pillars in place.

I have not attempted to put any broadheads in the foam sections provided in between the handles (at least, that is what the product label says this foam is for), so I cannot speak on its effectiveness or ineffectiveness. I prefer a dedicated broadhead box (MTM) tucked away in another bag.

I can picture this case being annihilated at the airport. I used to drive a bus on DTW's airfield many moons ago. I've seen plenty of airline tug drivers run over bags with bright summer dresses & bras trailing their back wheels. I even ran over a few with the bus because there was no way to avoid them in certain narrow corridors.

The rest of the reviews on this product are SURPRISING to me!!! Bottom line... being a consumer & judging this product from the pictures used to advertise it, as well as the reviews written to praise it... this arrow case should be of much better quality than it actually is!

5Great Arriow Case  Sep 20, 2011 By Kiely K. Cheung "Kielyzilla"
It keep all my arrows in place. Perfect fit for all my arrows :) If you want something that is durable and keeping your arrow in great condition, it's a must-have!

5Versatile Case!  Jun 02, 2011 By The Lost Raven
This case has been an essential must-have item for me. I started getting into archery a year ago, so of course I wanted to try out numerous products -- a main one being arrows. This case fits my thin A/C/G arrows all the way to my FatBoy arrows. It also provides you with the option of storing your broadheads in this case.

No complaints, have had this product for over a year now and has held up great!

5NEK Shopper  Nov 22, 2010 By NEK shopper
I've had this banging around in the trunk or the bed of the truck since last year. Stands up to quite a bit of abuse and the arrows are still straight. What more could a competitive shooter ask for?
