By M. AHN I don't play hockey so my review might not be valid. But from my understanding this is a real vintage remake of an old hockey mask. It fits very well and it covers the majority of the head unlike other halloween hockey masks that just cover the face. There are 5 adjustable straps that are made of the soft first aid like elastic straps. These straps attach to a backplate that even protects the back of your head. The back plate is thick enough to prevent a concussion as it also has a foam cusion. The inside of the mask also has much foam cusioning. The mask is very comfortable, I personally have fallen asleep with it on so it's pretty comfortable. My nephew threw his metal toys at me and they bounced off this mask, no scratches were made as a result.

By Chris Yonan I bought this mask to wear while playing floor hockey. Not only is it fully functional, but it's pretty intimidating too. I've been hit in the head with the floor hockey puck and the mask absorbed the hits wonderfully. Great buy.

By Conrad Habermann After taking a slap shot into the mouth and spitting blood everywhere, I decided it was time to get face protection. I didn't like the full cage helmets and wanted something vintage like. It took sometime to find one I liked and that was also cheap. After receiving this mask, it has saved my face from a ton of damage. It looks intimidating and I feel very comfortable with it on. It's a really nice piece of equipment and I have no problems or concern with it at all.

By Douglas Goldberg this is a great mask for numerous sports and costuming needs. pros- fits the face well, and if you happen to have a larger head and nose...like i do it still fits well. the 5 straps hold it in place securly in a sprint or jumping around. it can be easily modified. cons- it does restrict vision, you lose some periferal vision and the top of the mask needs slight ajustment depending on the shape of your head.
one of the first things i do with this kind of mask is open the eye holes a bit for periferal vision.
