Great Starter Bat Oct 19, 2009
By Oahu T. Sheer More weight than an aluminum bat, so those forearms and biceps and triceps and deltoids develop better, and affordable enough to buy more if it actually breaks. In fact, you can buy several of these for the price of most respectable aluminum bats...

Nothing like the sound of wood. Jun 26, 2009

"Fly like and Eagle!"
The look on my son's face when I gave him this bat for this birthday was simply awesome. The sound of the wooden bat and the feel of a solid hit seemed more natural and authentic. I went to a large sports store and little league bats ranges from $24 up to over $300. I thought, "How ridiculous!" as I bought the $25 DeMartini. It lasted like two games and it had broke. It looked nice for those two games, but he hit farther with the wooden bat. If it breaks I will buy another in a heart beat.

THE CLASSIC WOODEN BAT!!! Mar 27, 2011
By Bruce Garey I bought this for my six-year-old grandson. I want him to LEARN baseball with the classic WOODEN baseball bat. No "THUNK" from an aluminum bat will ever be as satisfying as the crack of a wooden Louisville Slugger smashing a line drive. The ability to "size this bat to FIT my grandson" was another plus. We chose just the right length and weight for his age and size. If it was good enough for Mickey Mantle, it's good enough for my grandson.

GET RID OF THIEVES IN AN INSTANCE Aug 11, 2011
By flapjackwonka After hearing about home protection at a local activist committee I decided that a bat would be the best option. And boy did it work and that will teach them a lesson they will never forget. 'Do not try to steal my booze!'
