If you are skating as your primary workout activity, then the K2 Moto 84 Inline Skate is the ideal skate for you. It features V02 Alu frame, 84mm wheels and ILQ-7 bearings and is the perfect introduction to bigger wheels. The Moto 84 naturally comes with 84mm wheels, but are able to handle up to 90mm wheels if/when you want. Both wheel sizes allow for great speeds and depending on where you are skating, or your ability, it is nice to have options. K2's Softboot designs incorporate breathable, comfortable, and flexible materials that fit and function like a second skin while substantially reducing overall weight. I have always used rollerblade the brand, but after I tried these on today, I am loving this pair of skates. They are vented througout and worth every penny.

K2 Moto 84 frame got loose Sep 03, 2011
By Darius Bought those not on Amazon, but wanted others to know my experience with these skates. Everything would be great about skates, the only annoying thing is that frame got loose. Went skating like 3 times and they became quite noisy. Take the shoe and shake the frame holding on back tire and you can hear aluminum frame hitting the boot. It seems it is only for right shoe (the one without brake). When skating I can hear this noise every time I hit the shoe to ground. So I went to local shop and got those replaced. Salesman assured that he never heard such complaint about these skates. Well I doubt him. Tried skating with new pair of shoes and guess what, the same situation - the frame got loose again. In shop I double checked the skates and it was fine. But after some rides they became loose. Very disappointed. Had K2 skates previously and was very happy, but now very disappointed. Going today to shop to give them back and choose another ones. No wonder why they are on sale now on Amazon... It seems there are other people on internet having this problem. Just google it "K2 Moto 84 frame got loose". Have a nice day...

Not bad for a fat foot Apr 29, 2011
By RTM I have a wide foot. Reaaally wide and this boot fits fairly comfortably. The reason I picked this skate was because it looked like it had the ability to expand to fit my foot due to the material and lack of hard plastic going all the way down the side of the skate. I wasn't disappointed. This is the most comfortable skate I have ever worn. As previously noted in another review, the ankle support feels a little loose to start out and it felt like my first time iceskating in rented worn-out skates. This was my first time in soft shell skates and I got used to (and feel comfortable with) the support the skate has. Great price on this item. Orginally pictured as 2011 skate. Seller gave me a call and offered to work with me once they realized that Amazon had posted wrong picture and they had already sent me 2010 model (currently pictured). I was comfortable with 2010 model and went with it.

Extremely Comfortable and a Smooth Easy Ride Nov 01, 2010
By Ryan McGhee I'm coming from a 10 year gap in my inline skating, having picked up these skates on a whim. I'm 30 and out of shape, and I decided it was time to get active again. My old skates were Rollerblade Lightnings which I had to sadly stop using after the buckle snapped (shouldn't have stored them in the trunk of my car...). The only reason I bring my old skates up is because they had the plastic rigid boot design, and this is what I learned to skate on. These K2s have their (VERY comfortable) soft boot design, and even with a 10 year gap in my skating practice, they freak me out every time I take them out on the road. I am so accustomed to firm ankle support, and it's taking time for me to learn how to skate in these. With all that said, I have been extremely pleased with how quickly I have re-learned to skate, and with how comfortable these skates are. Excellent product, especially for the price.

I use it to cruise around, fitness and for street hockey.
I had aggressive skates before, and they were heavy as hell, so these skates were a huge load off.
I highly recommend these skates! Stable around the ankles! I went to nearby stores to try out the fit.
