Poor quality! Not recommended. Jul 07, 2009
By LN I have never written an online review like this but we just received these bocce balls and are quite disappointed in their quality so I felt compelled to.
The coloring on the balls is cloudy, uneven and has other blemishes. They were dusty and the etching into the resin is poorly done. The nylon carrying case (not a hard case as mentioned in other reviews) would be ok except that if you take out the cheap thick cardboard box, there's nothing to hold it upright. It's all made in China and poorly in my opinion.
Not going to return them because it's not worth all the hassle. But wanted to provide this info to others.

By Mike All in all this is a good set and my family and I are happy with it. Only suggestion would be a soft case instead of the big neon green hard case. Case is awkward and one of the latches is a little messed up.

Very nice set. Got this set for a family reunion. There was always a line of people waiting to play, the set was in use all day and the game was a hit. Nice soft case to store the balls in. Balls seemed ok to me. im sure you can get a more quality set for more money but this set was very nice for the price.

By C. Dicamillo Looked like a quality bocce ball set. Too bad Amazon didn't pack it better in the box. The plastic storage case took a beating during shipping arriving with broken latches and hinges. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift, so we tried to exchange it but it was no longer in stock. We accepted a refund on the item. Amazon was pleasant to work with for this return. If the product arrived in good condition, I don't think the case's latches would have held up for more than one season anyway.
