Many parts missing Sep 06, 2009
By S. Nicholson We can not recommend this product. We received our Franklin advanced volleyball and badminton set in time for Labor Day. However, when we were ready to set it up, many parts were missing: no pin for the pump to blow up the volleyball, no hooks to hang the net on to the poles, no attachments for the poles to hang the hooks that we didn't have. Even if we had all the parts, it would have been no easy task to follow the sparse directions. We returned the product.

By N. D. Elya Instructions for set-up are very poor and the quality of the support poles for the net is quite inferior.

By busymom100 We bought this set for vacation and decided to try it out in the yard before we left. The net poles are a bit wobbly so we decided they needed to be reinforced with duct tape (personal call). The rackets started to unravel within 10 minutes so we stapled the grips back on and covered the handles with electrical tape(much better). The volleyball is very hard and hurt to hit(that may be just me but it did). We tried to put more air in it the next day and the little rubber thing you stick the needle in pushed into the ball so it was ruined and we had to run to the store for a new one(which by the way didn't hurt my arms to hit). Anyway, it was a fairly reasonable price and the poles are adjustable which is good for being able to play two different games. If you don't mind reinforcing all around it should hopefully hold up for the summer. One more thing. The net is very long, it makes it fun if you have a lot of people playing but I would say it is about 10 feet longer than it should be.
