not actually as pictured Jan 20, 2010
By zxzrcs It's a heavy bag filled with heavy mystery stuff. How can you go wrong.
The bag I received has four metal attachments for chains, rather than nylon straps. Chains were included and I actually prefer this arrangement; still I could see how someone planning on hanging the thing a certain way might be a mite upset.
This bag is far more dense at the bottom than top, so settling of the mystery stuff can be a problem. I noticed when, after beating at face level for a while, I decided a low punch. Several uncomfortable moments resulted.

Amazon needs to correct their info Jan 20, 2010
By P. Lackey This is a nice bag, it arrived in 2 business days and in good shape. The bag has a good feel, and the nevatear fabric seems like it will hold up well. All in all, I would give it five stars if it were the same bag that was described in Amazon's add. However, it is not. The bag I received is not double ended and it does not have nylon straps at the top as you see in the picture. It's still the most economical buy in heavy bags on Amazon, but I probably would have ordered a different bag had I known that I was getting a standard bag with chains on top and no bottom tie down provision.

Excellent bag, very sturdy Jul 06, 2011
By Anwar S. For it's price I'm surprised that this bag has last so well. I purchased it approximately a month ago and have used it nearly everyday. I used to for both boxing practice and lower it to practice some muay thai kicks.
Pros - all in all an excellent bag, I doubt it will open or tear anytime soon. If it does just take out the duct taoe.
Cons - Rock solid at the bottom, fluffy and soft at the top. I added a 10 lb plate to make it heavier at the top and placed my own stuffing (from a pillow) and placed it in the bag. If you purchase this, I do reccomend adding some rags inside and be careful if your going to make power punches to the bottom of the bag, that were all the sand accumulates and it feeles hard a rock so use hand wraps and gloves if possible.

Good Price Jan 30, 2010
By D. Moser Amazon is the best, I buy stuff from it all the time and I'm always happy with the product I recieve. They ship fast. I looked around for a while for a heavy bag that was around 70-80 pounds for the best deal and Amazon had it. I will always give 5 stars on price. This is a good heavy bag. It's heavy enough to where it stays put for the most part, and it's not too heavy to where it becomes a workout just moving the bag. I recommend good gloves when using this. Don't go with the cheapest gloves you can find. If your going to spend $70+ on this, you may just as well spend a little bit on a good pair of gloves. Your hands will thank you.

Not what is described Feb 23, 2010
By Toasted Cheese Great price, but not what's described *at all*
The description: * Constructed from durable and long-lasting synthetic leather * Specially blended filler provides resilient shock absorbency * Double End attachment for greater resistance * Adjustable chain to accommodate all size of users * Redesigned with durable and safe webbing system
The reality: * Constructed from vinyl canvas-like material * Filler is rags 'n' bags - pretty much what you'll find in any low end bag, so fine * No double end attachment whatsoever * Comes with a chain and hooks - I guess it's "adjustable," so fine * No webbing, but stitched on triangular eyes for the standard s-hook attachment
I bought this for floorbag mobility and GnP stuff, so none of this bothers me at all except the fact that it's canvas. Sliding around on canvas in shorts and short sleeves = carpet burn city. It'll still work, but in retrospect I wish I would have spent a few more dollars for an actual synthetic leather bag.
