Great Skates!! Jan 10, 2007
By NC Reader

My 4-1/2 year old loves these skates, and so do I. Quality is excellent. Performance is exactly where I wanted it to be for a beginning skater - very much more controllable than roller blades. I did have to call the manufacturer before ordering though to clear up my sizing concerns. My daughter's shoe size was a 12 when I ordered and initially I didn't see anything smaller than a 1. Others complained of the big first size. If you scroll down the sizes you will see the smaller sizes at the bottom. I believe there is a J12 and J13. That would be junior 12 and 13. I got the 13 (a size bigger than shoe size) and it is a perfect fit - very easy to put on with just the right amount of room to grow. I highly recommend these skates!

SKATE AWAY ALL DAY Jan 30, 2003 THESE ARE THE FIRST SKATES I HAVE EVER HAD. THEY ARE VERY USEFUL BECAUSE THERE IS A BRAKE IN THE FRONT. I USE THEM EVERY DAY! I LIKE THEM BETTER THAN THE "LITTLE KID" KIND BECAUSE THEY GLIDE SO MUCH BETTER THAN MY LITTLE SISTER'S (SHE'S ONLY 4). THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR CARRYING THEM IN MY MOM'S SIZE TOO.

Defective skates that they won't exchange Jan 29, 2007
By J. Freeman
"Disappointed"
Sadly, these skates don't roll and the company has refused to exchange them. Too bad because my daughter loves the look and feel of the boot, but she also would like to skate. Save yourself the trouble, buy something else.

Girl's skates Feb 28, 2007
By L. Bittner My 6 y.o loves these roller skates. Skates around the house almost all the time. Boot is supportive, but not stiff. Feels like real leather. True to size. She wears a 13 in all her shoes. Tried Roller Derby, will stick with Chicago Girl.

Great Skates for Little Feet Mar 16, 2006

"Faithful Atheist"
Very well made skates and the only ones I could find that would fit my tiny little girl's feet. She loves these skates and they are holding up very well.
