Good quality product Jan 08, 2011
By Andrew Little We bought this for my teenage son for carrying his ski boots, helmet, ski pants and ski clothing etc. The bag is perfectly sized for this. For anyone familiar with Transpack bags, this Athalon bag is very similar, and although slightly different shape, it seems to have the same capacity. I would say this Athalon bag is a step up in quality from Transpack and even my teenage son noticed the high quality.
I would highly recommend this bag and I might even buy one for myself :)
2/5/11 EDIT: I was so pleased with the quality and capacity of my sons Athalon Everything Boot bag, I got one for myself. Without problem it holds ski boots, ski pants, long underwear, sweat pants, two shirts, sweat shirt, ski sox, a pair of shoes and my helmet. There are extra pockets to hold more. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and there is padding between your back and pack.

Great bag for traveling. It holds my ski stuff, my boots, coat, pants, etc and even has enough room for some other travel stuff. Makes it easy to have 1 bag with everything. And when it gets heavy there are two heavy duty handles or I can carry it on my back. Awesome bag.

We have used this boot bag for two plane trips and so far it remains reliable and is ready for the third. The bag is roomy and would fit a pair of size 25-26 women's boot and a pair of size 21 kids boot. The design is such that it does not lend stress on the zipper even when tightly packed with 2 pairs of boots. Under similar packing condition, my other boot-bag's zippers gave in! Pleasant experience when carrying as a bag, we haven't tried carrying it as back pack.
Pros: Stands out on the baggage-claim conveyor belt ! the patterns are vivid yet tasteful.
